Heather Stout
Assistant Coach

Heather Stout is in her first season as an assistant coach of the New York University women’s volleyball team. Stout’s primary roles will include individual skill development and game-day responsibilities.
 
Stout comes to NYU after a four-year career as a women’s volleyball player at NCAA Division II Glenville State College in Glenville, WV. She was a two-time Glenville State Athlete of the Week selection and a member of the Academic Honor Roll all four years.   
 
"Heather's outgoing personality and leadership experience in a variety of capacities will strengthen our program this season,” said Head Coach Jolie Ward. “She is eager to contribute to our team and share her knowledge with our student-athletes."
 
Stout, who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in early education and behavioral science from Glenville State in December 2014, is currently pursuing her master’s degree in sport management from Brooklyn College.
 
A native of Mt. Jackson, VA, Stout resides in Manhattan, NY.
